What is CKI?

Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world.  With more than 13,770 members worldwide in 17 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day.  Local Kiwanis clubs sponsor and foster growth of Circle K clubs on college or university campuses.  We are a self-governing organization that elects its own officers, conducts its own meetings, and determines our own service activities.  CKI provides a positive environment for our members to live by our three tenets: service, leadership, and fellowship.  Each year, CKI clubs have accumulated more than 1 million service hours for their schools and communities.  There are also ample opportunities to learn how to become leaders in the club and for the future.  Events like District Convention, Fall Training Conference, and Spring Training Conference, provide our members with resources and the training to become a leader.  These and many other events we host will allow you to and expand your network and make life-long friends.

About Our Club

We have general meetings once a week, where we discuss past and future events. Along with our general meetings, we have service committee meetings and board meetings. Anyone can feel free to see what goes behind the scenes at our board meetings. Interested in leading a service event? Have service ideas or just want to meet more people? Take part in our service committees, where we discuss upcoming service projects with our Service Chairs! We will also begin to have Fundraising Committee meetings once a week starting Fall 17 quarter. There are lots of leadership opportunities for those who would like to participate! UCSB Circle K is part of the CNH district. This district spans across California, Nevada, and Hawaii and includes more than 3200 college students! Our district features nine different divisions incorporating state universities, private schools, and community colleges. These divisions are: Capital, Central Coast, Desert Oasis, Foothill, Golden Gate, Magic Kingdom, Metro, Paradise, and Sunset. We are part of the Central Coast division. Other schools in our division are: Fresno State, Cal Poly, Fresno City College, UC Merced, Ventura College, and Santa Barbara City College. With the schools in our district, we strive to hit district goals and have a big cooperative service event once a year
